Henry Jackman & Joseph Trapanese Apparently to Score Next Marvel Movies

As reported by several news sites, composer Henry Jackman (CAPTAIN AMERICA WINTER SOLDIER and CIVIL WAR) appears slated to score the forthcoming BLACK WIDOW movie. With the character’s unfortunate demise in AVENGERS ENDGAME, her long-awaited solo movie is a prequel of sorts, occurring shortly after the events of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, in which Natasha Romanoff finds herself alone and forced to confront her past. The announcement comes from the HN Entertainment website , whose entertainment writer Nicholas Whitcomb posted it on twitter.

He also reported that Joseph Trapanese (ALLEGIANT, INSURGENT, OBLIVION, ONLY THE BRAVE) has been tagged to score Marvel’s ETERNALS, about superheroic members of an immortal alien race created by the Celestials, protect humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants. This will be Trapanese’s first Marvel superhero score.

BLACK WIDOW is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on May 1, 2020; ETERNALS has a US release date of November 6, 2020.
