Henry Jackman Meets Detective Pikachu

Sony Classical will release Henry Jackman’s score for Pokémon Detective Pikachu.

Detective Pinkaju OSTMulti-award winning composer Henry Jackman scores the thrilling soundtrack to the eagerly anticipated film. POKEMAN DETECTIVE PIKACHU. Jackman has won numerous prestigious awards including 4 ASCAP awards & 2 Annie Awards. In 2013, Jackman was nominated for an International Film Music Critics Award for Best Original Score for a Comedy Film. He has been nominated twice for BAFTA awards.

Jackman is known for scoring many commercially successful & critically acclaimed films including: X-Men First Class, Kick-Ass, Captain America: The Winter Soldier,WRECK-It-RALPH, Kong: Skull Island, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. He has also composed music for video games; most recently, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Synopsis: In the Pokémon universe, ace private eye Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, prompting his 21-year-old son Tim to find out what happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry’s former Pokémonpartner, Detective Pikachu, a hilariously wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth who is a puzzlement even to himself.

Pokémon Detective Pikachu is directed by Rob Letterman and stars Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton and Ken Watanabe. The movie based on the Pokémon franchise follows a teen who teams with Pikachu in order to find his missing father.
