SMILE 2 is an upcoming American psychological supernatural horror film written and directed by Parker Finn. A sequel to SMILE (2022), the film stars Skye Riley (Naomi Scott) as a pop singer who begins to experience a series of increasingly disturbing events as she is about to go on tour. The pop sensation begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and pressures of fame, she must confront her dark past before her life spirals out of control. Written and directed by Parker Finn, the film stars Naomi Scott, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Peter Jacobson, Ray Nicholson, Dylan Gelula, Raúl Castillo and Kyle Gallner.

The film is scored by Cristobal Tapia de Veer (THE WHITE LOTUS, SMILE, BLACK MIRROR, UTOPIA).

The first film, also directed by Parker Finn in his feature directorial debut, and also a psychological/supernatural horror film, was based on Finn’s short film Laura Hasn’t Slept (2020) The first SMILE stared Sosie Bacon as a therapist who witnesses the bizarre suicide of a patient, then goes through increasingly disturbing and daunting experiences that lead her to believe she is experiencing something supernatural.
