Exclusive Video: Scoring the Four-way Superhero Crossover
The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will join forces in a crossover event called “Crisis on Earth X.” The four-way crossover will began last night, Monday Nov. 27, and concludes tonight Tuesday, Nov. 28 on The CW.
In this year’s crossover, all of the superheroes come to town for Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris’ (Candice Patton) wedding however, villains from Earth-X crash the festivities with a deadly agenda.
Composer Blake Neely, who writes the scores for all four shows, created a two and a half hour score for the four-part special. The composer had eight days to write and record the score, which he completed on November 21st at The Bridge recording Studio in Glendale.
