THE MANDALORIAN Season 3 Scored by Joseph Shirley
Joseph Shirley is scoring the third season of Lucasfilm’s Disney+ original series THE MANDALORIAN. The composer has previously provided additional music to the first two seasons of the show as part of Ludwig Göransson’s team. While the full Season 3 music credits have not been confirmed yet, the understanding according to Filmmusic Reporter is that it will be similar to last year’s THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT, with Shirley being credited as the score composer and Göransson for providing the themes.
THE MANDALORIAN is an American space Western television series created by Jon Favreau for the streaming service Disney+. It is the first live-action series in the STAR WARS franchise, beginning five years after the events of RETURN OF THE JEDI (1983), and stars Pedro Pascal as the title character, a lone bounty hunter who goes on the run to protect the Force-sensitive child Grogu. The third season follows the title character as he crosses paths with old allies and makes new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together. Season 3 of The Mandalorian will premiere on March 1, 2023 on Disney+.
