Ishai Adar Scores Nicolas Cage’s Wild Ride Horror Thriller SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL

Released to theaters today by RLJE Films, SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL is a psychological horror film written by Luke Paradise, directed by Yuval Adler (THE SECRETS WE KEEP, THE OPERATIVE, BETHLEHEM) and starring Joel Kinnaman and Nicolas Cage.

Plot: After being forced to drive a mysterious passenger at gunpoint, a man finds himself in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse where it becomes clear that not everything is as it seems.

The film’s score has been composed by Ishai Adar, AKA Oosh, a film composer, sound designer and multidisciplinary artist. He has produced music for award-winning Israeli films, and has won Best Music award at the 2014 Jerusalem Film Festival. He uses unique techniques that lend his work special character and is known for creating an uncommon, mystifying sound environment. Ishai now works as a sound designer and composes soundtracks not only for film, but also video art, sound installations, computer games, and digital interfaces. He is a lecturer at the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem and leads workshops for music and film students around the world.
