STAR WARS: THE BAD BATCH Season 2 Streams on Disney+ January 4th

The Second Season of STAR WARS: THE BAD BATCH, a 16-episode animated series created by Dave Filoni for the streaming service launches on Jan 4th on Disney+ and runs through March 29, 2023. The series is part of the STAR WARS franchise, acting as both a sequel to, and spin-off from, the series STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS. The second season will follow Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, Tech, and Omega as they try to survive in the wake of Order 66.

Composer Kevin Kiner, assisted by his sons Sean and Dean, return to score the Second Season, after scoring the first season, as well as Filoni’s previous animated series STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS and STAR WARS: REBELS.

In an interview last November with Jennifer McDonough at thedirect.com, the composers described the family’s work on THE BAD BATCH Season 2, particularly the role of Clone Commander Cody: “One thing Kevin was talking about,” said Dean, “we’re always just taking all these different turns and that episode goes in such an interesting place for some characters, Cody included… I love the nuance in that episode and I’m excited for you guys to see that one.” Added Sean: “There are so many episodes that are wildly different from each other,” to which Kevin commented: “I was gonna say epic for a couple of them!”
