WAKANDA FOREVER Wins Numerous NAACP Image Awards Including Music & Songs

Congratulations to Ryan Coogler, Ludwig Göransson, Archie Davis and Dave Jordan (Hollywood Records) for their NAACP Image Award win for Outstanding Soundtrack/Compilation Album for Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: WAKANDA FOREVER. Among other music wins for the film is Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems for “No Woman No Cry” for Outstanding International Song, and Rihanna won for Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album for “Lift Me Up.”

The ceremony for the 54th NAACP Image Awards took place yesterday. The event recognizes achievement in the arts, entertainment and culture by people of color in more than 80 categories.
