Notefornote Music to Release Joe Renzetti’s score for THE EXTERMINATOR
For the first time ever, Joe Renzetti’s score to the 1980 James Glickenhaus directed cult classic hybrid of action, revenge and horror is available on CD. The film follows the killing of a man’s best friend on the streets of New York City. In response, the man (Robert Ginty) then transforms into a violent killer, turning New York City into a great war zone, and only Detective James Dalton (Christopher George) is able to stop him.
Officially licensed by Xrosscounter from James Glickenhaus, the music was carefully remastered and released on vinyl over a year ago. Joe Renzetti worked closely with the producers to give fans the best presentation of the score. The album includes the film’s iconic song “Heal It” by Roger Bowling, Byron Hill, and Mike Reid – which is making it’s release debut on this soundtrack. The first 100 copies sold through Notefornote will include a signed booklet from composer Joe Renzetti.
The label has these CDs in hand and are just waiting on manufacturing which arrives around 5/22. This is a distributed release produced by our friends at Xrosscounter Music. Once the product arrives, we will ship asap. The soundtrack CD will be available in a limited edition of 500 CDs on May 22nd. For more details, see the label, here.
