Netflix Debuts THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL on Oct 19 – Soundtrack by Theodore Shapiro Now Available
Netflix announce the release of THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL (Soundtrack From the Netflix Film) with music by Theodore Shapiro (SEVERANCE, YELLOWJACKETS, THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE, TROPICAL THUNDER, IDIOCRACY, JENNIFER’S BODY, DODGEBALL). The 23-track album released today in both standard audio and Dolby Atmos on major digital platforms, and includes the original song “Who Do You Think You Are” written by Kiana Ledè & Cautious Clay, which sonically encapsulates the dichotomy between the film’s duality of Good and Evil.
The original score by Shapiro perfectly matches the magical, whimsical, and sweeping world of the film. “The world of THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL is incredibly rich, drawing visually on everything from ancient myths to modern couture. The score for the film follows this lead, combining medieval sounds like recorders and frame drums with Baroque harpsichords, an epically sized orchestra, and modern beats and programming. My mantra was: cinematic and epic, but never forgetting a pop sensibility,” says Shapiro.
