J. Peter Robinson Scores Sequel film R.I.P.D. 2: RISE OF THE DAMNED – Soundtrack Album Released

Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album for the supernatural action comedy R.I.P.D. 2: RISE OF THE DAMNED. The album features the film’s original music composed by J. Peter Robinson (CLEANERS, CHARMED, SPAWN, THE OUTER LIMITS [1995-99]).

Directed by Paul Leyden, R.I.P.D. 2 is a sequel to R.I.P.D. (also marketed as R.I.P.D.: REST IN PEACE DEPARTMENT), the poorly received 2013 supernatural action comedy film starring Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds. The new film stars Jeffrey Donovan, Penelope Mitchell, Richard Brake, Jake Choi and Kerry Knuppe, and follows Sheriff Roy Pulsipher (Donovan) as he becomes the newest officer for the Rest In Peace Department, enforcing the afterlife’s laws who is given a mission to stop a dangerous demon from opening a portal to the underworld.

R.I.P.D.: RISE OF THE DAMNED has been produced by Universal Home Entertainment, and will be released directly to Blu-ray and DVD on November 15, 2022.

J. Peter Robinson’s score is now available on a digital soundtrack available to stream/download on Amazon and other major digital music services.
