Harry Gregson-Williams’ Soundtrack for MEG: 2 Released by WaterTower

WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for this Summer’s shark action sequel, MEG 2: THE TRENCH on July 28. The album features the film’s original music composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (SHREK, THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA, THE MARTIAN, CHICKEN RUN, KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, THE LAST DUEL, MULAN) who previously scored 2018’s original THE MEG movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally later today, and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.

The movie follows a research team on an exploratory dive whose voyage spirals into chaos when a malevolent mining operation threatens their mission and forces them into a high-stakes battle for survival. MEG 2: THE TRENCH is directed by Ben Wheatley and stars Jason Statham, Wu Jing, Sophia Cai, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Page Kennedy, Skyler Samuels and Cliff Curtis.

The film will be released in theaters nationwide next Friday, August 4 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
